Prior to cofounding Leiutis he was associated with well-known pharmaceutical companies and held increasing roles of responsibility. He specializes in product innovation and new product strategy. He has over 50 patents and publications.

He is CEO & Co-founder of Biophore with over three decades of research experience in various facets of pharmaceutical industry. He is Post–Doc from VCU, (Virginia, USA), Masters and Ph.D.from BITS Pilani (India)and has over 80 patents and publications.
